Zoo Day

Since the Smith family is planning on moving to Spokane (the end of next week!) Marilyn and Autumn wanted to catch up with some of their friends before leaving. So we met up at noon with Chandra, her step daughter Monika, and her baby girl, Isabel, and also with Laurel and her little girl, Wendy for one last playdate at the zoo. The other little ones had their strollers and Autumn had her "leash" so she could run around. We had a great time and the best exhibits were the polar bears, who are always showing off for the crowd. We also saw penguins, a giant elephant, sleeping cougars, a couple different bears, and many other animals. Autumn had a blast running around, and although the little ones were well past their bedtimes, they only got happier and more energetic as the time went on. On the way home Autumn was treated to chicken fingers and Burger King (and a whopper for mommy!). Although Autumn was hours late for her nap she had a hard time winding down to fall asleep after getting home. It was a good day! :)

Chandra was first to arrive with baby Isabel...

...and Monika

Then came Laurel and Wendy!

I believe we were excited about the seals or otters.

We stopped to play and have a snack.

What a monkey!

Here's a video of the Polar Bears!!

I think it's time I take Autumn hiking. Yeah!!!

Tractor time! This reminds me of my Papa.

How many people can you fit on a tractor???

Cooling off at the waterfall.

The day is almost over but Autumn is still going strong!
