Last night we went to dinner at Shoguns (Japanese Steakhouse). After that we went to see Stephanie's new Condo. She and Dustin just made the final move from Seattle this weekend. We're so lad to have them close! Chad's mom, Valerie, came to help them move.

Hangin' out before dinner in Mom and Dad's room

See my pretty dress?

At the Condo..Chad, Valerie and Stephanie

And Dustin too

Autumn was a little wound up after dinner

Hurray for bean bag chairs and wallets!

Painting

I can't believe we waited so long for this, but it was Autumns first time painting. She got so messy and had to take a shower afterwards, but it was more fun than coloring for her (and that's saying a lot!)

A morning in the yard

Autumn and I went were in the front yard enjoying the morning a few days ago and she had so much fun!

Riverside Park

Autumn and I went "hiking" in riverside park (different than riverfront)
I plan on going up there with her often in the future...but maybe with one of those child carrier backpacks. She's too easily distracted to make it a much of a walk!

My little girl is getting so big!!

For a while all she wanted to do was sit and play in the dirt...so she's now getting a sandbox for her birthday! Erin, this is while I was talking to you.

We found a path down to the river. I thought she might want to put her hands in the water, but she wouldn't keep her feet out. (her brand new white sneakers weren't so white after that)

Goofy pictures

Just goofin' around with my baby girl!

New quilt

I got some material for a new quilt. I was going to put the pattern on here too but I haven't gotten around to scanning it in yet. It's a shadow pattern if that means anything to any of you (although I think there are many different kinds of shadow patterns?)

Bathtime!! With a hat.

Autumn decided to bring a hat into the tub and it was too cute!

Dinner at Mim and Papa's

After Amy's wedding, we went to Mim and Papas for dinner. We had an amazing visit and it was so hard to leave! But I had plans to see my cousin Scott and meet his girlfriend (who was very nice, by the way) so we had to go early. Autumn and Chad had a wonderful time here as well and I hope we get to go back fairly often.

Here, Autumn is playing in the tractor sprinkler. I've never seen anything like it by the way. It moves across the yard on it's own and stops at the end. Genius.

Autumn and Mim, some of my favorite gals, walking together.

Autumn visiting with Papa.

Chad and Mim

So Autumn got her dress soaked in the sprinkler so we had to take it off to dry it. Then she started playing with this chair. She had a blast just picking it up and carrying it around the deck. We were actually a little surprised...she's so strong!

Amy's wedding

My cousin, Amy, was getting married to Mr Will Smith. So we made the long 6 hour drive out to Great Falls, Montana. It was so great to see so much of my family, and I felt like there wasn't near enough time to see everyone as much as I wanted to! The wedding was beautiful and everything went well. Amy was exceptionally beautiful. Autumn had a hard time with the drive (what child doesn't sleep in the car!? I'll tell ya who's...mine!), but she made it.

Some of these pictures are a little out of order, but they're here!

This is Amy and her sister, Laura, after the reception.

Mrs. Smith looks adoringly at her new husband!
And moms and dads are there too.

The happy couple.

The cake.

Chad and Autumn

Laura and their brother, Brian.
He didn't make it into as many pictures since he was the main photographer.
Great job Brian!!

The wedding party..sorry to the girls that I cut off on the left!

Riverfront Park

Autumn and I (Marilyn) went to Riverfront Park, which is about 8min from my house, and had a great afternoon playing in the sun!

We fed ducks...

rode the 100 year old carousel...

And did a bit of walking around.

Autumns first fair cut

My poor baby kept getting hair in hair in her face! So as much as we were trying to put it off, we had to cut her hair. We didn't do much. Just gave her bangs and left the rest alone. She's much happier with it now. :) The deed happened on July 6th.

Whoa, what are you doing with those things, Mom?

I can see!!!
